GRV

GRV IS a West Coast team known for clean formations, musical restraint, and intentional choreography. Founded in 2007 in Walnut, California by dancers including David Lim, Jeff Baluyut, Angelie Descalzo, and Valerie Meneses.

GRV established itself early on the competitive circuit, earning recognition at events such as World of Dance LA, VIBE, and Fusion. In 2012, they won World of Dance LA and placed second at the World Hip Hop Dance Championships, followed by consistent performances at major competitions including Body Rock and The Bridge.

Beyond competition, GRV has built a broader development structure through affiliated teams like GRaVy Babies, GRooVe, and Gravity. The team has developed choreographers who have worked with artists such as BTS, BLACKPINK, and TXT, appeared on America’s Got Talent Season 20, and built one of the most recognizable studios in the US as a way to invest back into the community where the team began.
