Brotherhood Dance Crew is a powerhouse of Canadian hip‑hop, rooted in camaraderie, craftsmanship, and championship-level performance. Their journey began humbly in 2011 within a church basement in Surrey, BC, where choreographer Scott Forsyth and a core group of dancers bonded over their shared passion.
Almost immediately, Brotherhood made waves on the competitive stage. They claimed back-to-back gold at the World Hip Hop International Adult division in 2013 and 2014, asserting their dynamic style and storytelling prowess . Their momentum continued with standout titles: Body Rock Champions (2015), Vibe Dance Competition winners (2017 & 2019), and a remarkable three‑time World of Dance Vancouver win (2013–2015).
Their excellence didn’t go unnoticed. In 2018, Brotherhood earned a coveted spot on NBC’s World of Dance Season 2, bringing their precision choreography and raw energy to millions of viewers . That year, they battled through duels with signature intensity, proudly representing Vancouver and showcasing a distinctive narrative style on a global broadcast.
But Brotherhood is more than competition wins. It’s a symbol of mentorship and unity across Canada and beyond. They remain active through workshops, stage showcases, and cross-border tours, all led by Scott Forsyth’s vision. Together, they honor their roots—formed in that Surrey church—as they continue inspiring the next generation of dancers.
