Los Angeles, CA (September 20, 2026) - The International Dance League, Inc. (IDL), the first global professional dance league, brought the LA Series, the final series stop of the 2026 regular season, to the sold-out Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles. e.l.f. Cosmetics, the official presenting sponsor, brought the best of beauty to every fan and dancer, as well as Honda, Shopify, Red Bull, and Cîroc were on display. Thanks to e.l.f. Vancouver's Brotherhood was crowned the official winner of the IDL 2026 regular season, making fans eager to watch who claims the title today, September 20 at 7:30 PM PDT streaming LIVE. 

The night kicked off with the Community Division, giving emerging teams and talent in the Junior Division (<18) the opportunity to compete in front of a live audience and earn prize money. San Diego-based team iLL Habits clinched the top place, LA-based Underscore took the runner-up spot, and Syndikidz from San Jose rounded out third place on the podium. 

The night then shifted to the pro competition, where IDL’s six founding teams representing major global dance hubs including Brotherhood (Vancouver, Canada), Quick Style (Oslo, Norway), Jam Republic SEA (Singapore), 1MILLION (Seoul, South Korea), Royal Family (Auckland, New Zealand), and hometown GRV (Los Angeles, USA) took the stage to compete for the LA Series trophy. 

The building was electric as Brotherhood claimed the LA Series title, securing the final win of the season, and remaining undefeated throughout IDL’s inaugural year. After two 7-0 voting sets that put Brotherhood and Royal Family into the final round, the battle between GRV and 1MILLION left fans on the edge of their seats. While judges split the vote 3-3, the fan vote pushed GRV over the line, giving the California-based team another chance to perform for their home crowd. Closing out the night with a high-intensity final round, GRV gained a second-place finish, with Royal Family closing out the rankings with third place. The LA Series wrapped up the regular season, determining seeding for the Championship and the team matchups. Fans are invited back for another night of matchups today, September 20 at 7:30 PM PDT streaming LIVE including: Brotherhood vs Quick Style, Jam Republic SEA vs Royal Family, and 1MILLION vs GRV.

Ahead of the league’s inaugural season final events, the IDL hosted a press conference featuring CEO and Commissioner of IDL, Connor Lim, as well as team captains and representatives from all six teams highlighting their experiences throughout the past four months. 

• Connor Lim, CEO, Commissioner and Co-Founder of IDL on the topic of dance being able to grow over time: We all know that dance has been on TV time and time again, but one of the issues with that, and one of my personal qualms with it, is that when you go on television, it's a reality TV show. You do it one time, you get exposure, but then you don't come back. And what do you do with that? I think what we're seeing with this league now is the compounding effects of what happens when you have the opportunity to come back month after month and grow that over time, and then we can extrapolate that to what that's going to look like season after season, year after year.

• Nasir Sirikhan (Founder of Quick Style): A lot has changed back at home [Oslo, Norway] because we've been a boys team majority. The fact that this time around, we're a full girls team, it creates this new dynamic at the studio where now more girls are signing up and they really want to take over - which they can! And, I think that is something that we've been wanting to communicate as well - that the house is open for everyone.

• Scott Forsyth (Captain of Brotherhood): I think inspiring dancers all around the world has been really cool to see. Throughout the season, people have said how IDL, and specifically our team Brotherhood, inspired them to get back into team dance. That's how I started dancing. I was on a team, and there's something very special about it so it's really encouraging to hear there's almost this resurgence of interest in competitive team dancing, and people want to be a part of a crew.
