20 New Faces. One Royal Family.

February 27, 2026

The International Dance League (IDL™) has six Pro-Teams. One of them owned the Super Bowl LVII halftime stage with Rihanna.

Royal Family returns to the IDL for the 2026 Season with their most international roster to date: 25 dancers born across 13 countries, representing a Pro-Team that has spent 15 years building one of the most recognized names in the history of dance. Founded by Parris Goebel in 2011 at The Palace Dance Studio in Auckland, Royal Family won the World Hip Hop Dance Championship megacrew division three consecutive times, the first team in history to do so. They choreographed Justin Bieber's "Purpose: The Movement" across all 13 music videos. They put dancers on the field for Jennifer Lopez's Super Bowl halftime performance in 2020 and Rihanna's in 2023. Lady Gaga called on them for Coachella 2025.

That is the standard this 2026 Season Roster is setting.

A Roster Built From the World

20 of Royal Family's 25 spots go to new additions in 2026, making this the most significant roster evolution in the Pro-Team's IDL history. Dancers join from Argentina, Australia, England, France, Italy, Japan, Korea, Norway, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, and the United States alongside New Zealand's home-grown talent. Royal Family's 2026 Season Roster spans 14 countries of birth, the most geographically diverse roster in the IDL this season.

The 5 returning members, Donald Ah-Loo, Chance Heremaia-Bristow, Moana Davis, Shayden Taare, and Soeun Jung, form the backbone of institutional knowledge for a roster that skews young and hungry. Moana Davis, who danced in Rihanna's Super Bowl LVII halftime show, brings that stage to the floor every time Royal Family competes.

The Next Generation

This is not a roster built for nostalgia. Royal Family's 2026 lineup ranges in age from 17 to 25, with the majority of dancers in their late teens and early twenties. This is Parris Goebel's global vision in action. Royal Family has a proven system for absorbing dancers from anywhere in the world and forging them into the unmistakable Royal Family style. The speed at which they do it is the flex.

Royal Family enters the 2026 Season with something to prove.
